Like many stories of Kiwi ingenuity, ours began in a shed.

Back in 1992, our founder began mixing cleaning solutions with a canoe paddle out on the family vineyard. Working tirelessly until the right mix was found, we were set to lift the standard of the cleaning product market, establishing a reputation both locally and internationally.

In the years since the business has grown but our ambitions have remained the same. We are still locally owned and manufacture our products ‘just down the road’ in Masterton, New Zealand.

Now with a second-generation onboard, we continue to be a trusted producer of cleaning products and solutions, delivering peace of mind and quality assurance to our loyal customers.

We’re located in the heart of the Wairarapa and have been an active part of the local community for decades. We believe that all of our customers deserve fast, friendly service and the easiest way to do that is with a great team and a factory located in the middle of the country. Since founding the business in 1992, Bernard has grown it from strength to strength with his passion for sales and deep knowledge of the chemical industry.  With his expertise in the field, he is able to provide us with unique insights into the latest trends and developments in the industry. And his commitment to staying up-to-date with the latest research and technologies ensures that we are always at the forefront of our industry.

Matt Fisk

Matt has spent the last 19 years working across nearly every area of QualChems operations. From manufacturing and dispatching to his present role as key account manager, Matt has had exposure to every area of the business.

Maria Fisk

Finance Manager

As small family businesses generally go, Maria has had a hands-on approach to learning the business. From manufacturing a production batch to being CFO – she has pretty much done it all in her 20 years with QualChem. Maria has been around to see the changes in the industry, both good and bad, and has played a critical role in QualChem’s journey. Maria’s also an enthusiastic creative, so if you receive a beautiful presentation, you know who to thank!
